Russell Lee Morgan

Mr. Morgan's final place of rest is located at Garden of Remembrance III, B-13, Space 3. Russell Lee "Russ" Morgan, age 83, of Mt. Airy, Georgia, went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 31, 2016, following a sudden illness. Mr. Morgan was born on May 20, 1933, in Vine Grove, Kentucky to the late Wilbur Lee and Della Mae Morgan. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Russ was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Cornelia. Survivors include his wife: Margaret Catherine Morgan, Mt. Airy, GA; daughter and son-in-law: Debby and Vance Vermilya, Clayton, GA; sons: Rusty Morgan of Georgia and Brad Morgan of Olathe, Kansas; son and daughter-in-law: David and Cheryl Morgan, Olathe, Kansas; eight grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, November 6, 2016, at First Presbyterian Church of Cornelia with Rev. Jason Edwards officiating. All family should meet at the church by 2:15 pm.
