Mrs. Andrews' final place of rest is located at Sunset Hill I, I-3, Space 3. Ruth Burrell Andrews, age 85, of Cornelia, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2017. Mrs. Andrews was born on April 23, 1932, in Cornelia, Georgia, to the late John and Emma Meeks Burrell. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Cline Andrews. Mrs. Andrews was a retired employee of Ethicon Medical Products, a Johnson & Johnson Company, with over 20 years of service. Survivors include her son, Chris Andrews of Cornelia and sister, Maxine Tench of Cornelia. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, January 5, 2018, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia, with Rev. Terry Rice officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the service hour on Friday, January 5, 2018, at the funeral home.
