Ryan Cody Cauthen

Mr. Cauthen's final place of rest is located at Garden of Devotion II, C-6, Space 4. Ryan Dakota "Cody" Cauthen, age 25, of Athens, Georgia passed away on Friday, March 22, 2019. Cody was born on March 21, 1994 to David and Gigi Nix Cauthen. He was an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan and a Nascar enthusiast. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hiking, swimming, and any day spent on the beach. He is preceded in death by his beloved grandfather, Adger "Al" Nix, who was his hunting buddy and hero. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Ashleigh Cauthen; grandmother, Niva Nix; grandparents, John and Barbara Cauthen; as well as numerous family members and friends who were like family. Funeral Services will be held at 3:30 p.m., Sunday, March 31, 2019 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Chip Cranford officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, March 30, 2019 and from 2:30 p.m. to 3:20 p.m., on Sunday, March 31, 2019 at Flanigan Funeral Home.
