Sandra Kay Barrett

Mrs. Barrett's final place of rest is located at Garden of Calvary, Q-6, Space 1. Sandra Kay Barrett, age 74, of Baldwin, Georgia went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 14, 2019 following a brief illness. Mrs. Barrett was born on March 7, 1945 in Gaston County, North Carolina to the late Charlie and Mildred Tench Smith. She was a member of Alto Congregational Holiness Church. Mrs. Barrett was retired from Oak Manor Assisted Living. Sandra was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Survivors include her loving husband of 39 years, Billy Joe Barrett, of Baldwin; daughters and sons-in-law, Sherry and Joel Fry, of Mt. Airy; Sheena Weaver, of Bowersville; son and daughter-in-law, Brandon and Aimee Barrett, of Baldwin; sons, Scott Stephens, of Baldwin; Ronnie Jackson, of Carnesville; sisters, Phyllis Smith, of Toccoa; Wanda Perry, of Cornelia; Denise Holland, of Baldwin; thirteen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel with Rev. Scott Ledbetter and Rev. Sanford Kimbrell officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at the funeral home.
