Mrs. Barrett's final place of rest is located at Garden of Honor, F-18, Space 3. SARAH FRANCIS "SALLIE" BARRETT, age 74, of Carnesville, GA, passed away on Monday, January 4, 2010. Mrs. Barrett was born in Habersham County, GA on November 6, 1935, to the late Leonard Lawson and Mary Parthenia Smith Herrin. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Barrett, brother, Gene Herrin and 1 grandchild, Christopher Poole. She was a member of Double Springs Baptist Church and a member of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Barrett was a homemaker. Survivors include 4 sons, Kelvin Poole, Crawford, Kerwin Herrin, Flowery Branch, Jonathan Barrett and Edward Barrett both of Carnesville; 2 brothers, John Herrin, Demorest, and Idus Herrin, Cornelia; 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, GA with Rev. John Humphries and Rev. Keith Franks officiating. Burial will follow in the Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, GA.In lieu of flowers donations maybe made to the Masonic Children's Home, P.O.
