Mrs. Davis' final place of rest is located at Garden of Calvary, P-4, Space 1. Funeral services for Sheila Ann Church Davis, age 73, of Clarkesville will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at 2:00 PM from the Hillside Memorial Chapel. Dr. James Hamilton will officiate with interment to follow the service in Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service Tuesday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Mrs. Davis passed away Saturday, December 9 , 2017 at her residence. Born in Habersham county on August 6, 1944, Mrs. Davis was the daughter of the late Oscar E. and Blondine Waldrop Church. She was retired from Scoville Fasteners where she was a Dept. 92 inspector. Mrs. Davis was a member of Hazel Creek Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Davis is preceded in death by infant daughter Christie Lee Yearwood and brothers Edward, Pat, and Jerry Church. Survivors include her husband Russell Davis of Clarkesville, son Chris Davis of Toccoa, brother and sister in law Buck and Jeanette Church of Clarkesville, sister Jaynell “Nell” Church of Clarkesville, as well as two grandchildren.
