Teresa Kay Mullinax

Ms. Mullinax's final place of rest is at Sunset Hill I, D-13, Space 2. Teresa Kay Mullinax, age 61 of Clarkesville, passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2021. Born in Demorest, Georgia on May 29, 1960, she was a daughter of the late Guy Howard and Emma Forrester Mullinax. Teresa was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Demorest and previously worked for Standard Telephone, Alltel and Windstream. She was a caregiver who loved her family, children and animals, especially her cats. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her grandparents, Melvin & Leota Mullinax; brothers, Larry A. Mullinax and Barry M. Mullinax. Surviving are her brothers and sisters-in-law, J.G. & Bonnie Mullinax of Mt. Airy and Earnest & Jo Mullinax of Alto; sister-in-law, Charlene Mullinax of Clarkesville; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services are scheduled for 3 pm, Sunday, October 10, 2021 in the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin and Stewart with Rev. Connie Berry officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5-8 pm on Saturday at the funeral home. Those in attendance are asked to please adhere to the public health and social distancing guidelines regarding COVID-19.
