Vera Stowe

Mrs. Stowe's final place of rest is located at Sunset Hill 4, H-6, Space 3. Mrs. Vera Brady Stowe, age 93, of Demorest, passed away Monday, May 20, 2019 at Habersham Home. Born August 20, 1925 in Carnesville, she was the daughter of the late Asia and Bessie Brady. Before retirement she worked in the Suture Department at Chicopee Manufacturing. Mrs. Stowe was a member of Grace Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband: Curtis Stowe. Mrs. Stowe is survived by her son: Bobby Stowe; grandson: Barry Stowe; great grandchildren: Karlie Stowe and Kaleb Stowe. The funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at Grace Baptist Church with Rev. Phil Yarber, Rev. Grady Walden, Rev. Johnny Loudermilk and Rev. Mickey Umbehant officiating. Burial will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. until the service.In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made, in memory of Vera Stowe, to the American Alzheimer’s Association 225 North Michigan Ave. Floor 17 Chicago, IL 60601 or alz.org.
