Violet Rose Pierce

Mrs. Pierce's final place of rest is located at Garden of Remembrance II, F-15, Space 4. Violet Rose Pierce age 95, of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2015. Mrs. Pierce was born in Ellis, Kansas to the late Melvin and Zora Ann Helms Kilgore. She was a homemaker and the head of six generations. Mrs. Pierce was preceded in death by daughter, Zora Ann Pierce Clark; son, Melvin Newton Pierce; sister, Vivian Kilgore McCarty; brother, Melvin Luther Kilgore; and grandson, Terry Lee David. Survivors include her son, Wilmer E. (Sandy) Pierce, Cleveland; daughter, Dewita Louise Pierce David, Clarkesville; grandchildren, Rodney Pierce, Roger Pierce, Randy Pierce, Russell Pierce, Roxanne Storm, Floyd Lee David, Jerry Don David, LaDonna Rose Zufelt, Karen Kay Smith, Ricky David, Jimmy John David, Kerrie Pierce Dockery, LeBrina Haislip, Debbie Knox, and a number of great, great- great and great-great-great grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 11am Saturday, August 8, 2015 from Barrett Chapel. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens in Demorest.
