Mrs. Pierce's final place of rest is located at Sunset Hill I, E-15, Space 4. WANDA PIERCE, age 57, of Toccoa, Georgia, went to be with The Lord on Friday, January 8, 2016. Mrs. Pierce was born on July 9, 1958 in Highlands, NC, to Eugene and Ova Ledford Corpening. She was a member of Old Toccoa Baptist Church. Mrs. Pierce was involved in medical health care in various aspects in Habersham County. She is preceded in death by her son, Stephen Eugene Pierce; and brother, Kenneth Eugene Corpening. In addition to her parents, survivors include her husband, Ricky Pierce, of Toccoa; sons, Shane Pierce, of Toccoa; Matthew Lake, of Atlanta; and Richard Pierce, of Toccoa. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 10, 2016 at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel with Rev. Doug Justice officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Saturday, January 9, 2016 at the funeral home.
