Willene Whitlock

Mrs. Whitlock's final place of rest is located at Sunset Hill IV, F-13, Space 3. Willene "Billie" Whitlock, age 88, of Demorest, Georgia passed away on Monday, September 14, 2015. Mrs. Whitlock was born on December 4, 1926 in Leslie, Arkansas to the late Henry and Ruth Griffin Cotton. She was of the Protestant faith. She was also retired from the food service industry. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, David McCutcheon; sisters, Irene Buss; Pearl Thompson; Jewell Gilliam; brother, Donald Cotton; grandchild, Eric McCutcheon; great-grandchildren, Geoffrey Stafford; Morgan Sheridan; Noah Shirley; and Baby Morales. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and Paul Marinelli, of Mt. Airy; Cathy and Jim Shirley, of Erwin, NC; daughter-in-law, Glenda McCutcheon, of Alto; son and daughter-in-law, Elvis and Barbara McCutcheon, of Mt. Airy; brothers, Jack Cotton, of Clinton, AR; Alvin Cotton, of Maryville, IL; 9 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services are scheduled from 3:30 p.m., Thursday, September 17, 2015 at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel with Rev. Roy Rogers officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens.
