William Harold Robinson

Mr. Robinson's Final Place of Rest is located at Sunset Hill II, C-9, Space 4 Funeral Services for Mr. William Harold Robinson, Sr., age 88 of Baldwin, Georgia will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 24, 2022 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Toccoa, Georgia with Rev. Roland Vega officiating. Interment will follow in the Yonah Memorial Gardens in Demorest, Georgia. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Sunday, October 23, 2022 at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel. Mr. Robinson was born July 7, 1934 and passed away from a short battle with cancer on October 20, 2022. He grew up in Miami, Florida and worked at Miami International Airport for 43 year repairing and testing airplane engines. He Worked on every kind of car, small engine, lawn mower and was the best seamstress you could ever have. He retired to Habersham County, Georgia in 1995. During his retirement he and his wife Gerry volunteered with several organization. He worked with his church, sharing and caring as well as the Lutheran World Relief. He sewed and supplied all the items for the kits that were sent overseas. He mowed his church yard in Miami and Habersham for 40 years. He is preceeded in death by his parents Hugh and Willie Clare Robinson; son Donald Robinson; brother Hugh Robinson; sisters Helen Robinson and Marlene Wigand and his favorite buddy Percy of 17 years. Mr. Robinson is survived by his wife of 65 years Gerry Robinson; son and daughter-in-law Bill and Martha Robinson of Independence VA; daughter and son-in-law Shari and Randy Collins of Lawrenceville, GA; daughter-in-law and son-in-law Debbie and Paul Davis of Cleveland, GA; 12 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested please make donations to the Trinity Lutheran Church, 4041 GA Hwy 17, Eastanollee, GA 30538 or to a charity of your choice.
