Mrs. Dorsey's final place of rest is located at Garden of Yonah I, G-22, Space 1. WILLIE REE MANEY DORSEY, age 84, of Cornelia, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2014.Mrs. Dorsey was born on September 6, 1929 in Banks County, Georgia to the late Roe Richard and Rosie White Maney. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Burr Dorsey; brothers, Voice Maney, A. B. Maney, Rad Maney, Miles Maney, Robert Maney, Clyde Maney, Jewell Maney; sister, Irene Maney. Mrs. Dorsey was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and Eastern Star. She was a retired inspector with Ethicon, a division of Johnson and Johnson. Survivors include her sister, Winnie Gabrel, Clarkesville, GA; brothers, Richard Maney, Cornelia, GA, Monroe Maney, Lithia Springs, GA. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m., on Saturday, June 7, 2014, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia with Mr. Larry Whitfield and Rev. Robert Dilbeck officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Friday, June 6, 2014.
