Mrs. Williams' final place of rest is located at Garden of Yonah II, J-7, Space 1. Winnie Pearl Williams, age 76, of Clarkesville, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2018. Winnie was born on April 13, 1942, in Gainesville, Georgia, to the late Jim and Esta Shoemake. She was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her husband, Randy Chamblee of Clarkesville; daughter and son-in-law, Alice and Bobby Stewart of Gainesville; sons and daughters-in-law, Ray and Linda Williams of Jackson County and Lloyd and Sharon Williams of Dahlonega; seven grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 pm on Friday, July 13, 2018, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia, with Rev. Shane Evans officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1-2:45 pm prior to the service on Friday, July 13, 2018, at the funeral home.
